Tara's Garden 2025: Circle of Unity

On March 10, 2025, Tara Rose Willenborg should turn 30 years old, but she won't. She was killed in 2013, eight days before she turned 18.

Yet, Tara's Garden has grown over the years. It has nurtured students pursuing their GED, supported animals in need and given to the church in which she was both confirmed and eulogized. On March 8 of this year, Tara's family, friends and community members will gather at that church to celebrate her birthday and continue her legacy, her love of animals, her commitment to education and willingness to help others.

We'd love to see you if you're able to join us for cake, entertainment, a silent auction, adoptable dogs and more, but whether you are able to attend or not, you're invited to give to help Tara's Garden Grow.

Proceeds will be split evenly between three charities: The Todd and Tara Willenborg Scholarship Fund, Southern Indiana Animal Rescue and St. Luke's United Church of Christ.
