Pat Smullen Charity race.

Hi everyone my names Tara and i will be taking part in the Pat Smullen charity race at the curragh and I'm raising money for cancer trials Ireland. A cause quite close to my heart having lost an uncle to a brain tumour and a grandfather to an inoperable brain tumour and an aunty to cancer too, and other family members. Also very close family friends, too I wanted to do something to help, for this though I wanted to raise money in thought of my father, who has been through a lot the last while having had bowel cancer himself, successfully removed and had check ups recently to find he still has the all clear, thankfully. It has been a long journey that we are hopefully on the good side of. Having recently lost his wife, my mum suddenly at the start of this year to something completely different I wanted to do something for him, whether I raise a little or a lot I thank you in advance for contributing to this cause that means a lot to me. I am currently in a racing yard and I am looking forward to riding in the Pat Smullen charity race, for such a worthy cause, my dad is a big supporter of the racing and horses in general, would even phone me to tell me what jockeys he’s seen on the tv, if I know them, and it makes me laugh, everytime.
