On December 23, 2024, our family found out our dad was diagnosed with stage four stomach cancer. Our rock, our foundation, the man we look up to, is slowly being taken away from us. Our dad enjoyed cycling to the beach for miles and miles, his “bici” as he would say. He cracked jokes with the family, came home every afternoon providing for our family with a lunch bag in his hand, to directly going to walk the dog. Any problem in the house, he was there to fix. Our dad was a family man, always there to tease his siblings, his daughters, & his wife.

Our dad went from being the strongest dad and human being we know, to not being able to eat, to hospital visits for chemotherapy and tests every week, for seven months straight. Bad news, good news, ups and downs, our family and him have been pushing through this horrible time of our lives. As I am writing this, our dad stays strong, for his wife, daughters, grandkids, siblings, & his mom, trying to hold on. Unfortunately, we just recently got news that there is nothing doctors can do for him anymore, & our family decided hospice was the best step to take. As he holds on strong, hospice nurses have told us he has 7-10 days left, maybe even earlier.

Along with this horrible news, our mother has also not been working for months. She is his primary caregiver, along with his daughters. These past seven months have taken a toll on our family, mentally, emotionally, physically & financially. We ask with a humble & heavy heart, to please donate anything you can. To help our family through these tough times, our last moments with our father, grandpa, brother, and husband.
