Tanzania Voluteering

Hi my name is Xanthe and I’m 14 from Aberdeenshire Scotland. I am really lucky and have been chosen to take part in an incredible opportunity to travel to Tanzania in June 2027 as part of a World Challenge school expedition.

While I’m there, I’ll be volunteering in a local community and helping with a project that improves access to education for children. The work I will be doing is hands on, from building a school one day to teaching young people or coaching sports the next day, to laying the groundwork’s for a playground, I will be getting my hands dirty! This will be a life-changing experience, not just for me but also for the people we’ll be supporting.

To take part, I need to raise at least £4500. This covers travel, accommodation, project materials, and essential safety and training. I’ll be doing this through fundraising events, sponsored challenges, and lots of hard work over the next couple of years.

Please help me to achieve my ambitious fundraising goal to fund my trip and support the education of the remote Tanzanian community I visit.
