Tanzania Projects - Orphanage and Water in 2023

In July, Myself and a team of LinkedIn employees will travel to Tanzania, Africa (at our own cost) to expand the Karim Orphanage's dormitory and complete a Water Well for a Maasai tribe of 20,000 people. Please consider donating to help make education and life possible for these beautiful children! With the support of LinkedIn, every dollar raised will be matched 100%.
We need your support with 2 very important projects we are funding in Tanzania this Summer!
- Water Well for Masaai Tribe - 20,000 people currently live without access to clean water. The water has been found and the pipes drilled to get the water. We now need to finish up the foundation so that this water source will be safe and long-term!
- Karim Orphange Expansion - The amazing home for 33 children can support more kids in need if we help them to expand their building!
Thank you to everyone's support over the years to bring material change to these children's lives. The projects from previous years are still going strong and we help to maintain these projects each year as well:
- Primary School for 500 Masaai children (including teachers' houses and infrastructure)
- Chicken Coops for 3,000 chickens for Orphanage project
- Day Care Center for 55 children in outskirt neighborhood which also supports orphanage
- Orphanage basic needs like installing running water, electricity, building a kitchen and a security wall
