Tanzania for Teretta Foundation

Hi All,
Mary & David here to tell you about our plan to travel to Tanzania in June 2024 to assist our friend Lenore Good and the Teretta Foundation.

Our goal is to help build a safe house for primary school children in the Kilimanjaro area who have been victims of sexual and physical abuse. By providing a safe home for these children as quickly as possible, we aim to change the course of their future.



The Teretta Foundation's mission is to protect these children, giving them the opportunity to simply be children and live without the fear of abuse. This will allow them to experience love and protection in a family environment for the first time in their young lives.



David and I will be traveling to Tanzania in the first week of June to assist Lenore and her team with planning and fundraising for the construction of these safe houses. We will bring the funds raised directly to the foundation to support the building of the safe house.

All funds raised will be dedicated to this goal. The Foundation's plan includes constructing a safe home for the children, as well as cottages to accommodate tourists and visiting groups. This will help sustain the project and eventually add a classroom to provide the children with a safe and trusted environment.



The Teretta Foundation will have full control over the operations and oversight of the project.

As a token of appreciation for donations received over the next 4 weeks, one lucky donor will be randomly selected to win a week's accommodation in a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom apartment in San Pedro, Marbella for up to 6 people (including airport transfers, excluding stays in July & August).
Every €10 donation equals one entry.
