Tanzania, Africa Mission Trip 2024

Hello!

I hope you and your family are well. I am currently attending Montclair State University. While at Montclair, I have come in contact with a missionary organization on campus

called FOCUS, the Fellowship of Catholic University Students.

This summer, I have a wonderful opportunity to be involved in a FOCUS mission trip. FOCUS Missions travels around the world to serve communities in need. With about 15 other college students and FOCUS missionaries, I will be traveling to Tanzania, Africa for 3 weeks in July 2024. We will be serving alongside locals in a village called Mlali. In Mlali, there is a rehab center for children where I will have the opportunity to spend quality time with these children, whether it be assisting them in their physical therapy needs or simply tucking them in each night. At times I may also be working on projects to maintain the grounds of the rehab center.

I have always had a passion for children and at Montclair State I am studying Education. To say I am excited for this trip is such an understatement.

Through this trip, I hope to grow closer to God and be a witness of God’s love to the people in Mlali. I am writing today to invite you to join our mission! In order to go on this trip, I need to build a team of partners who are willing to offer prayers and thoughts, and a financial gift.
