Tania is a kind warm loving woman, my best friend, my sister. Tania has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma which is a type of blood cancer. She is only 59 years old. Tania has been through a lot of trauma from an early age, such as being born with turner syndrome which is a condition that affected her development including her reproduction system. It also caused heart defects and stunned her growth. With this condition her childhood revolved around many trips to the royal children's hospital Melbourne. While tania and i were aged 3 & 4 our father was brutally murdered whilst we were in the home with questioned still to this day unanswered. Words can not describe the trauma that we went through. While Tania was a teenager, she was unfortunately diagnosed with bipolar disorder. She happily got married at 19, which then her loved husband mark, had committed suicide. This then sent Tania into a manic episode due to her bipolar. After these significant events, Tania went on to marry and eventually finally conceived a baby, after 9 tries, her son Liam through IVF. He is now 19 years old and thriving. Throughout the years of raising her son, Tania foster cared multiple children and gave them a safe place to be themselves.

Tania has been in the hospital since the 2nd of June. Since her diagnosis, her bipolar has spiralled down hill rapidly, thinking she had no time left. Tania has the best medical team, myself and our mother here supporting her. But myself being away from Darwin and my work, our mother being on a pension away from home as well as Tanias health ceasing her to work, we are struggling immensely. With the cost of travelling, hospital bills, medication, accommodation etc. we are asking anybody who is willing too and is in a position too assist with any donations it will be appreciated beyond words and will help in more ways than one. Any donations left from this fundraiser will be donated back into the cancer foundation. Thankyou from the bottom of our hearts.
