At Tandem, we believe Pride is more than just a celebration—it’s about visibility, community, and showing up for one another.

“Tandem with Pride 2025” brings together a vibrant group of Hongkongers and the wider Asian LGBTQ+ community here in Toronto. Many of us grew up in places where conversations around gender and sexuality were not always open. That’s why being here, and being visible, means so much.

Inspired by movements across Asia, we stand for inclusivity, equality, and the freedom to be ourselves. These values deeply resonate with both our roots and the diverse society we are now part of in Canada.

At a time when LGBTQ+ rights continue to face challenges around the world, Pride is not just important, it is necessary. It is a moment to celebrate how far we’ve come, and to stand together for what still lies ahead.

On Sunday, June 28, 2026, we will be marching at Pride Toronto, and we would love for you to be part of it.

This event is fully organized by volunteers. We are raising CAD 1,000 to cover essential costs such as parade registration, signage, and materials.

As we are not a registered charity, we are unable to provide tax receipts. However, all donations and expenses will be transparently managed and reviewed by a certified accountant. A full financial summary and receipts will be shared on our event page after the parade. Any remaining funds will be carried forward to support future Pride initiatives.
