Tamsyn Wood - Miracle she survives car accident!

Tamsyn Wood - Mum of 4, miracle that she lives after serious car accident.
Tamsyn is married to Alex and they have 4 wonderful children: Monty 17, Lola 16, Mitzi 14 & Esmie 13.
Their whole world collapsed in 2011 when Alex suffered a severe traumatic brain injury playing rugby. Alex now blind & with severe disabilities, requires 24/7 care. Tamsyn has struggled with raising 4 children alone and looking after her completely dependant husband. Despite the trauma and grief that she has been through, Tamsyn's strength and amazing positive outlook on life is admired by everyone around her.
Almost 10 years to the day of Alex's head injury, on 27th August 2021, Tamsyn was involved in a serious car accident. She is in hospital with life changing injuries. 7 fractures to her vertebrae, severe damage to her pelvis, hips and abdomen, internal bleeding, fibulas in both legs broken, a broken rib, partially collapsed lung, a seriously damaged foot (that required an initial operation to save it, then later a 9 hour reconstruction operation, and will require further operations) as well as bruising to her brain. Rehabilitation has been suggested will take around 2 years, but the injuries are life changing and she will never be the same again.
How could a family that have already suffered the most agonising 10 years now have this to contend with?
They are such a happy, positive and loving family, despite what life has thrown at them. So many people have asked how they can help and Tamsyn is humbled and extremely grateful for all the support and love she is receiving.
I'm Natalie (a friend of Tamsyn and the children for 10 years) Living in Beaconsfield with my husband and twins, I'm miles from Tamsyn in Devon and I feel frustrated that I am unable to help practically. So I created this page in the hope of raising money, so that we can make Tamsyn, Monty, Lola, Mitzi & Esmie's life slightly easier. I am speaking regularly to Tamsyn and she is overwhelmed at the money that has been raised. She is slowly building strength and is able to sit up and her foot is luckily recovering following the operation.

This fund (once "Gofundme" fees are deducted) is to go entirely to The Woods family. Such a large amount of money has been kindly donated, I feel it is vital that all donors are reassured that their money is going to Tamsyn and the children. With agreement from Tamsyn and Gofundme, I will withdraw the money and transfer 100% of the received amount to The Wood family.
The money will enable the children to get taxi's to visit their mum in hospital, get a few take aways, mend broken phones so they can call Mum, a few trips to the cinema or something fun to help the children take their minds off things, get online groceries delivered and to generally take some pressure off them all.
Thank you so much, anything will make the biggest difference to The Woods Family.
