Established on February 6, 1996, Tambyan was initially created to respond to adolescent girls’ needs and issues. Today, Tambayan aids in the needs of both adolescent boys and girls. This center is a safe space to keep children and teenagers off of the streets and assist with providing care and educational funding for each child. 

We are students at George Mason University wanting to make a change in young adolescents’ lives. During our Human Trafficking course, we have met the Tambayan on video call and have heard numerous of their personal stories. Currently, there are many young children that are stripped of their childhood due to abuse and captivity.  For that reason, we want to break this cycle of having children on the street. We are hoping to accomplish our donation goal to assist children with receiving education, food, school supplies, and personal hygiene products. We are thankful for any monetary donation that is received, along with any supplies. All proceeds go directly to the Tambayan Center for Children’s Rights.
