Ta’lil and Ja’Lani

Hi Everyone,

I am Tanisha Hill, I am Stephanie’s aunt by marriage. Yesterday our beloved Stephanie “Steph” Vil was violently murdered.

“One Bullet!!!” A coward has taken so much from us with one freaking bullet!!!!

Steph was a daughter, a niece, a friend, but most importantly, Steph was a PHENOMENAL mother. I watched Ta’lil learn of his mother’s death yesterday and as he was processing it he walked over and picked up his 3 month old sister. He said nothing, but he broke everyone in the room. As we all tried to reassure him we had them both his only thought was to reassure Ja’lani that he had her. Ta’lil is ten years old! This one instance broke us even more because it goes directly to show how much love Steph poured into her babies.

Our hearts are forever broken into pieces, and as we attempt to put one another back together, we hope you all understand that it’s hard to answer every call and every text, but we are so appreciative of your display of affection and support. So many people have asked to offer financial assistance to the kids and/or to Steph, so I created this page for that purpose.
