hi my friends. This is very difficult and uncomfortable for me to make but I’m reaching out for some support.

As many of you know, my mom was diagnosed with cancer in October and I’ve been back and forth between Oakland and Redwood City where I grew up to support her through treatment and also continue working and finishing up my semester as a full-time grad student. It’s been really hard. I’m making this fundraiser with the hope of being able to take a full two-three weeks off at the start of January in order to cancel all the gig work I had planned and just be with my mom full-time, as there is a potential surgery scheduled at the end of December to remove the tumor.

Like mother like daughter I am wanting to be very very private about this so I appreciate you sharing this with only close friends and family members who you think may be able to help.
