Taking Back Talyia - #TeamTalyia
My name is Kelly Baron and I was blessed with a beautiful baby girl Talyia Lynn Ahmed on February 11th, 2015.
Since the day she was born, she was my world. It was just me and her because i decided to leave work to be a full time mother. She is my happiness, my strength, my stress, my worries, overall my little sidekick.
When Talyia was 3 yrs old, I decided to end the 5 year relationship with her father. I realized i needed to separate not only myself from the abusive relationship, but more importantly Talyia.
Although her dad was always a great father, I couldnt allow my daughter to observe and learn that that's how a relationship should be.
I struggled for about a year with this new single parent lifestyle. I started working again, and stretched myself thin working full time as well as being a full time mother. I was blessed to have my parents and my sister to help as much as they could. Although that was a challenge itself due to my dad being very ill.
Talyia's father and I had our differences but eventually we were able to come up with a schedule for each other and our time with Talyia.
My entire world was destroyed roughly 7 months ago when I allowed my daughter to go visit her fathers family with him in Egypt.
Just for the record, this wasn't the first time I allowed her to travel with just her father. My daughter has been to Egypt every year since she was born. Ever since the separation of her father and I, this was the third time she traveled without me.
A detective from Upper Dublin recently reached out to me in regards to my Ex, Talyias father. It was brought to my attention he has a warrant out for his arrest regarding sexual harrassment to a minor at his job he had as a Tennis Coach.
Present day, I am here. I am without the one thing that keeps me alive and going, my daughter.
With all said and done, as far as the proper paperwork and nortorized letter signed and dated of her trip, I am here, yet she's not.
I am without the one thing that keeps me alive, strong, and going, my daughter.
My daughters father neglected to bring her back on the date we agreed upon.
He has no intentions of bringing her back.
My only option at this point is to get TWO lawyers. One in Egypt and one here in America.
There is no treaty between the United States and Egypt in which you are capable of obtaining your child without FULL custody.
The main reason of this is because Talyias father was able to make Talyia a citizen on Egypt without my consent. She is and was origanally born a citizen here in America.
I am working full time with a shattered heart in hopes I am able to pay the expenses of two lawyers and a plane ticket to travel to Egypt.
I moved back to my parents after 8 years of living on my own with my daughter, just to try to cut costs to be able to afford this whole situation.
With everything said, and minor details skipped, I don't know what else to do. I feel like every road is a dead end.
I wouldn't be able to thank anyone enough for their contribution in helps to get my baby girl back. She is the reason why i wake up everyday. Being without her for this long scares me, her well being, and my well being all at the same time.
If you made it through this whole story, I thank you and appreciate the time you spent regardless of donating or not.
Happy Holidays and embrace your family.
