Takeover Billboard in South Carolina Next to Flag

Hi! I'm Kimberly Renee, and this GFM is to fund the billboard on I-85 nearest to the confederate flag that towers over the highway in/near Spartanburg-Greenville South Carolina.

Because this flag is on private property, there’s nothing local officials can do about it legally (without changing the laws). So we will counter this with messaging and truth.

The feeling was harrowing!

According to Lamar, the billboard costs about 10K for 6 months and 16K for the year.

Follow me on Instagram as I document the journey. We can decide together on the contents of the billboard. Ultimately, I'd like the information to be striking and educational. I will also reach out to legislators about how other states have successfully removed the flags.
