This program I am most excited about because the mentors, instructors and teachers are retired military veterans! Bullying is often identified as the leading factor with children’s suicide. The CDC reports that 60 percent of high school students claim that they have thought about committing suicide. Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death between ages 10 and 24.
Kickin It combats the systemic problems, constantly growing and evolving as rapidly as the school and social culture. Kickin Its effective approach results, not only, in the reduction in bullying incidents Kickin It aids in reducing the negative outlets that children resort to such as mischief, drugs, alcohol, self-harm, violence and volatile acts.
