Hi everyone, I’m trying to raise money for a single mom to reunite and protect her daughter that is in our community. The child is an 8year old girl who was being molested by her mothers manager. Her mom worked 2 full time jobs and one is where she lived and worked at for over 4 years.

The day the mother realized what was happening she wanted to do what any mother would do but with no family and no where else to go she was beside herself. Her words were “I feel so powerless. I feel less of a mother not being able to respond to this situation how I want to” because she feared the repercussions.

She couldn’t just sit by and let her daughter believe that it was okay for that type of abuse. She needed to protect her daughter no matter the cost. So she has done everything she can to ensure her daughter is safe as well as shine light on the facility as the managers are still operating.

 What the mother feared became her reality. They lost their home with all of their belongings, they immediately terminated her, changed the locks and locked them out. They’ve had to rehome their pets they’ve loved for over 9 years, they have received a lot of pushback from our justice system because let’s be honest, our system is broken. However mom did not foresee being separated from her daughter but she had to do what was best for her daughter.

Things start to become dangerous and litigious as threats from her former manager start to come forth. Those were the repercussions of mom trying to protect her daughter.

This is a hard battle but Moms words to me were “I know this is hard and I know it’s so much easier to just let it go and focus on healing. But I can’t just give up. I can’t lose everything only to give up because the road ahead looks scary and intimidating. I’m going to show my daughter that she is worth every tear shed, sleepless night and hurdle. I will show my daughter that her Mom will fight for her no matter how hard it is or the cost”

And so the mom is doing just that.

I’m asking for our community to come together and support this family in reuniting them, provide a stable home for them to heal, provide support for mental and emotional health and litigation fees.

 Be a part of something bigger by helping to protect not only one child but all of our children. Let’s show them that this behavior is not okay and every child is worth this fight, no matter how broken our system is, we as a community can still make a difference.
