Take a Leap of Faith - Empower Women’s Voices Now

Hi, My name is Jennifer Andrea. I am a long-time friend, client and colleague of Katya Williamson, MFA, author, pictured above. I have set up this Go Fund Me for Katya to support her in receiving funding for her new book that will make a worldly impact on women and men and their voices.
The drastic Roe vs. Wade decision calls for more concerted action to block the forces that want to turn back the clock on women. I have joined this effort because I know she will continue to fight for women’s rights to freely express themselves and claim further empowerment.
This Go-Fund Me proposal is for $7500 for the book requested by countless
women she has worked with for over 30 years. In it, she motivates them toward
greater self-esteem, finding their wisdom, and taking action.
This funding will pay for the printing, design, marketing and distribution of
the book entitled "Leap: Taking A Leap of Faith to Empowerment" that took nine years to complete. It follows two others in the series, titled "Bringing the Soul Back Home: Writing in the New Consciousness (published by "O" book in the UK) and "Awakening in Avebury: A Woman's Call to Pilgrimage." The first included previously unpublished writing by women from her workshops; the second is a guide to self-manifestation.
When Katya became a three-time writer-in-residence at Yellowstone National Park, she created the free-form writing technique that helped thousands of visitors, women, men and children, discover their innate and unique creativity.
Since then, Katya has utilized this technique in writing workshops and sacred site retreats through "Celebration of the Circle" founded decades ago from Hawaii to Ghost Ranch in New Mexico, and from Glastonbury, Stonehenge and Avebury in England to the west coast of Ireland. In addition to gatherings in Yellowstone, Wyoming, and Oregon she has offered at Spirit Mountain Retreat in Idyllwild, Serra Retreat in Malibu, and in Joshua Tree, California. She has continued to offer classes on heroines in historical fiction and non-fiction written by women authors at the University of California, UCLA and UCR Extensions.
“Ten Thousand Waves of Women’s Voices” was started by Katya and other colleagues in the wake of the 2016 election, stating that “We are never going to go away, there are at least ten thousand of us, and we will continually lift our voices." Since then, they have facilitated performances by writers at museums, libraries, and independent bookstores, and are continuing to do so.
In her one-person mission to bring the voices of enlightened women and men
to a world that now more than ever urgently needs their input, she has
been a guiding force for multitudes. In the words of Jean Shinoda Bolen, MD, "I believe there is a heroine in every woman." Join us in making a difference for the empowerment of women! Your voice and participation matter.
This moment is pivotal in history. Katya attributes her continuing work to all the women and men of the past whose shoulders we stand upon. Will you join me in helping Katya take this next step towards women’s empowerment?
