I'll be going to Taiwan alongside 3 other students from Durham and other volunteers from the UK and abroad. We are helping with two summer camps at local schools for the children in the community. The summer camps have been running in the community for several years and usually have a turnout of approximately 50-80 children per camp. The goal of the camp is to be an outreach to the children of the community and to teach English lessons as well as Bible stories in Mandarin. The team in Taiwan follows up with the families of the children and invites them to church. OMF give us orientation sessions and continue to check in with us after we have been as well. At the moment they are getting to know us so that they can put us in a team that best works for our skill sets. We will be out there for 3 weeks in total.

Your money would be mainly supporting my flights and possibly some of the accomodation costs. If I do end up raising more than expected then the extra money will be donated to OMF.
