Tackle Prostate Cancer

Hi, my name is Harry Pearson and on Friday the 30th of May I'm going to be walking from the City Ground( home of Nottingham forest) to Pride Park (home of Derby County) to raise money for prostate cancer uk. I will be walking with my friend Dan who will be raising money for a mental health charity. Prostate Cancer is something that has affected my family over the past couple years and has made life very difficult with the uncertainties that it can bring, 1 in 8 men are likely to get prostate cancer at some point in their life and I want to raise awareness to all men and women that we should be checking on our loved ones when it comes to something so severe in so many peoples life's. Nottingham Forest and Derby County are massive rivals when it comes to football but something that brings us together is the way in which both clubs work so hard when it comes to doing charity work around their communities. My aim is to raise £500 but also to spread awareness for men to check their balls more often and make sure that we can talk about this sort of thing when it comes to friends and family.
