Tabatha’s Recovery
Donation protected
As most of you know, Tabbs was in the hospital for 29 days only to be re-admitted 36 hours later. She’s gone through a very delicate situation and she remains fragile and in a weakened state. We are far from establishing a medical regimen that will stabilize her current condition and bring back our vibrant, happy girl, but we remain hopeful we will take her home soon. Due to her Mito, it will be an ongoing process of trial and error to give her and us a sense of normalcy back. All of this has caused her to regress in basic day to day skills that we took for granted. We are now back at square one working on maintaining proper head control as we are unable to carry her properly. She can no longer roll on her stomach or her side requiring complete assistance from us to reposition herself. She now has a feeding tube, as she cannot eat by mouth. Her intensive therapy that was scheduled for April where she was going to finish learning how to sit will be postponed, but now our goals for her will be to roll and maintain her head in midline. We never saw this coming. We have dropped everything to be by her side at all times and after 30 days it has taken a toll on us financially. We know times are tough for everyone, so there’s no pressure to help, but we would be appreciative if you did.
