My name is Ibrahim, and I’m 29 years old, living in Gaza. Since October 7, when the war on Gaza began, my life has been shattered in unimaginable ways. I have lost my home, my family, and my health is deteriorating. The source of income that sustained me is gone, and the building I once called home has been reduced to rubble. Two of my brothers were taken from me by the violence, and each day, I face the constant threat of death from the relentless bombings.

The conditions here are beyond dire. I am forced to eat expired canned food, which is making me sick, and I have no safe shelter to protect myself or my family. The destruction around me is overwhelming, and every day feels like a battle for survival. With no end in sight to the violence, I am reaching out to you, the global community, for help.
