After 15 years together, 13 years married, and countless miles around the world, Jenn and Noel are embarking on a new kind of journey! They have long wanted to be parents and that moment is finally here!

From Jenn:
"For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be a mom. I never imagined any other way really other than the traditional way. When I met Noel in the fall of 2005, we instantly shared what our goals for the future were. We talked so much about growing a family one day. We talked about how many, what we would name them, the hopes and dreams we had for them. We never thought that we wouldn't be able to do it. It never really crossed our minds that getting pregnant would be a problem. We didn't actively pursue having children until 2015. After trying for over a year I sought infertility advice. It was discovered that I had a low ovarian reserve and what I did have was aged already. We were told that getting pregnant would be near impossible. We began talking about other ways to grow our family but kept holding out hope. In 2018 my sister began the foster care program and it piqued our interest but we just weren't quite ready to try a different path. In February of 2020, we decided to give it a try ourselves. We went to the first meeting and then Covid happened and everything was put on hold. Little did we know there was a greater plan in the works. One that was especially meant to be we think."

This month they received a phone call that would change their lives and give them all the feels and hope again. Through Jenn's sister and husband's foster journey, two very special little girls were brought into our family in February of 2019. After nearly a year and a half, they were reunited with their birth mom in June of this year. However, after realizing that she is not able to meet their needs, she has made the selfless decision to give them a better life through adoption. Jenn and Noel are honored at the privilege of carrying that responsibility, and we are thrilled at the opportunity for them to become parents as we welcome these precious girls into our family forever. Jenn and Noel have never been more excited, more nervous, yet more certain of any decision they've made as a family. This will undoubtedly be the greatest journey of their lives; raising two amazing little girls, showing them the world, and allowing them every opportunity to experience as much as possible in their lifetime.
The process of private adoption is very expensive, especially when the process has to be expedited quickly under the circumstances. Friends and family have asked what they could to help and if there is a way to support them, so we have created this GoFundMe to do just that. We will follow up soon with some type of gift registry for those who have requested it.
The money being raised will help pay for the adoption, travel, transition, and temporary care of the girls for the next few months until everything is finalized.
