Hello All,

I am Pooja Rathaur, a sophomore at Mt. Eden High School in Hayward. With the Shelter-In-Place in California, we are all spending more time indoors with our families. And at the same time, we are all contributing to saving lives by preventing the spread and #FlattenTheCurve. 

These are very unprecedented and challenging times for people all around the globe. Even in our community,  many Hayward families are facing hardships and amazing organizations like the South Hayward Parish do their best to support and provide basic resources for such families. 

The South Hayward Parish is a collective of local faith communities, that also runs a Food Pantry, providing emergency food to many Hayward individuals and families who are in dire need of food during this crisis. (http://southhaywardparish.org/)

My younger sister, Shreya, and I are raising money to benefit South Hayward Parish, and any donation will help make a positive impact.

This is a good opportunity for us all to help out our Neighbors in Need.

We also take this opportunity to appreciate all the first responders, Hayward Police, Firefighters, and health care workers fighting at the front lines during this Covid-19 Pandemic. They risk their lives everyday to save lives!
