Hey everyone, on October 17. My mother and her husband were detained by ICE while working. My mother is a woman of God; she's a hard worker and suffers from chronic body pain. She doesn't deserve to be treated like a criminal.

I miss her so much; no words can explain the amount of loss and displacement I feel. I need my mom. It has been two months without her. It’s hard to comprehend how easily control over your own life can be taken from you. My mother’s husband has been released from custody but is out of work since it s the cold season. I am beyond grateful to all of you who have supported me and my family, and those who shared and donated in a time of need. All the money we have received has helped us pay lawyers and help our parents get closer to returning to normal life. With the next payments to our lawyer we will inevitably use the remaining amount of what was donated. I hate to ask this of you all but we have set the new goal on this go fund me to help cover the rest of the lawyer expenses.
