Support for Kennedy's Healing Journey
Donation protected
Hello Friends, Neighbors, and Kind Supporters,
Earlier this week, 6-year-old Kennedy, a sweet, spicy, and energetic first grader, was hit by a car while riding her scooter in her Freeland Community neighborhood. She was seriously injured and is currently in the hospital receiving care for multiple injuries. While she is stable, her recovery will take time. Including additional medical procedures and a lengthy hospital stay.
Kennedy’s parents are by her side every day, focusing completely on her healing. As you can imagine, the medical bills and time away from work are adding up quickly. We’re setting up this GoFundMe to support them during an incredibly difficult time.
We’re hoping to ease some of the financial pressure by raising funds to help cover:
- Hospital and medical expenses
- Ongoing treatment and physical therapy
- Travel, meals, and other daily needs for the family while Kennedy is hospitalized
- Time away from work to care for her
Kennedy is a bright, kind, funny and creative little girl who brings a smile to everyone she meets. Kennedy is very involved in the Freeland Community as she plays soccer, little league, and took part in the Seussical musical at the High School. She has a strong spirit, and with the right care and support, she has a great chance at making a full recovery.
Any donation, no matter the size, will go a long way in helping this wonderful family. If you’re not able to give right now, sharing this page would mean the world to us.
Thank you for your kindness and support,
