The Brown Family is facing a devastating situation - they are on the verge of losing their home due to unforeseen medical challenges that have affected their financial situation. They are reaching out to the community to help. They desperately need support and comfort during this time. Despite their best efforts to stay on top of their bills they are desperately seeking assistance to cover their outstanding mortgage payments so they do not lose their home. The family is planning to sell their home, but this will take some time.
If you know this family, you surely know Joe. He has been an active member of the Forsyth County community – coaching football and baseball at Sharon Springs Park – volunteering for the Parks and Recreation board as well as donating his time to the basketball program at Denmark High School as a board member. It is with a heavy heart the family is sharing the news of Joe’s diagnosis of early on-set Alzheimer’s. Joe is only 57 – so this is a shock to all who know him. Angie just lost her mom to a 10 year battle with Alzheimer’s in November of 2023. During the past 2 years, Joe has struggled to keep a job. Sadly, he lost his most recent job in September of 2024. He is no longer able to drive or work. This has been an incredible hardship for his family. His wife Angie has worked for forsyth county schools for the past 10 years. Her job was used for ‘extras’ or to help fund expenses for the kids. With the loss of Joe’s income, it has become impossible for Angie to maintain the house and pay all the bills. Angie is also a 2-time cancer survivor; she has non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and has undergone over 48 rounds of chemo. The medical expenses for both Angie and Joe have also had an impact on their finances.
They are at risk of losing their home of 20 years. Any donations will be used to pay off back mortgage payments and essential bills.
Every contribution, big or small, is deeply appreciated and will make a significant difference in the fight against this disease as well as helping the family keep their home until they can list and sell. Please consider sharing this campaign to spread awareness and support the Brown Family as they navigate this difficult journey. All prayers appreciated.
