Hi, my name is Madi. I'm starting this fundraiser to aid my brother during a difficult time in his life. For those of you who don't know Kolby, he is a very fun-loving, kind person who would do anything for his loved-ones.

On August 2, Kolby was in a terrible accident where he was rushed to the hospital. He sustained very serious injuries to his head and was unconscious. As he started regaining consciousness the doctors ran a countless amount of tests. While running those tests a lesion was found on the frontal lobe of Kolby's brain. The lesion did not match the pattern of the rest of Kolby's injuries which raised concerns. After running more tests and seeing specialists, Kolby has been diagnosed with a stage 2 Glioma(brain tumour).

Kolby is home and with his family while he is recovering. Despite the new diagnosis he is doing very well with his recovery from the original trauma to his brain. However, with the new diagnosis, Kolby will not be able to work for the foreseeable future. His road to recovery will be a long one with visits to many specialists, brain surgeries and chemo and/or radiation.

I'm making this go fund me to help Kolby pay his bills while he is unable to work. Our goal is to support him as much as possible. That being said Kolby also requires a calm and quiet environment while he recovers from his initial injuries. My mom and I are asking that anyone with questions to please reach out to us directly and we can pass along any well wishes and messages to him. My family and I appreciate your support tremendously through this hard time.
