SKB is responsible for creating the wonderful post box toppers which have put Syston on the map and encouraged other communities to follow suit.

The knitted toppers have regularly attracted the attention of local and national media, with displays related to events, charity work and people of recognition. A true joy to behold for our community, with fund raising connected to the art pieces too.

The post box which has been host to SKB's work is due to be upgraded and will no longer be suitable to support future projects.

I am appealing to the community to buy a reclaimed post box and fit it in a prominent position within Syston, so we can all enjoy SKB's legacy and hopefully continue to inspire our community and others like it.

A post box in decent condition is worth up to £6000, but we've now found one cheaper. £3500 is the new amount I'm hoping to raise. Any money left over will be donated to charity.
