Donations for Syrian Refugee Kids

Why donate?
In March 2016, 28 students of conflict resolution enrolled in George Mason University's class: Field Work with Syrian Refugees will be traveling to Jordan to work with Syrian refugees as we learn about the conflict that brought them there.
In partnership with Project Amal ou Salam ("Hope and Peace"), our class will work with refugee kids who have been called "Syria's lost generation." Project Amal ou Salam's founder and director and George Mason graduate Nousha Kabawat, will be joining us on our trip. Once in Jordan, the student in charge of this page will be handing the money directly over to Nousha. Nousha will then be responsible for purchasing the supplies that our class will use in Jordan.
We will use sports, music, and art to help the children imagine a new vision for the future of Syria -- and to give them a chance to have fun and just be kids again!
We are asking our family and friends to help us raise money to support our work with Project Amal ou Salam. The overall objective of the program is to contribute actively and meaningfully towards a nonviolent transition to an inclusive, secure, and sustainable peace in Syria.
