We're enhancing the entrance to our Danville neighborhood with a new "Sycamore Creek" monument sign! This will help to brand our beautiful community and add property value.
We plan to remove both of the old Sycamore Creek signs but only replace the sign on the east side of the Morninghome entrance. The estimated cost is between $6,500 and $7,500. While that may seem like a lot, realtors assure us that installing a high-quality neighborhood entrance sign is money well spent. It will enhance the desirability and home values of our neighborhood.
Above is an example of a design we like. As you can see, we're trying to add a more sophisticated model by incorporating some stonework elements as seen in surrounding Danville developments. The finished product will have a flat top, however, rather than the arched design and will measure 9 feet wide. And, of course, the script on the sign will read “Sycamore Creek.” Your generous donation will go towards the creation of the sign itself, installation, and permit fees.
The suggested donation is $150 - $200 per home. While this may be an unexpected expense, consider that many homeowners pay that amount each month to a HOA and we anticipate that this sign will last for many years to come. Even if you can only afford a much smaller amount, please consider donating something to show your support. If you can afford to give more, please do! This project can only move forward once we have the funding secured.
