Maher Suleiman, a healer by profession and a beacon of hope in the darkest of times, tirelessly tends to the wounded as a doctor. His wife, Jehan Sarhan, valiantly serves in shelters for the displaced, despite bearing the scars of conflict inflicted by nearby bombings, and her sister, Basema Sarhan, battles the cruel grip of hypertension and heart disease. Their need for medical care pierces my heart with helplessness. They bear the physical and emotional scars of relentless bombings, yet their spirits remain unbroken despite the cruelty inflicted upon them.

Their twin sons, Ahmed and Amjad, both twenty-year-old third-year engineering students, tirelessly volunteer in youth and scouting campaigns. Through their "charitable kitchen," they provide sustenance to the displaced, while offering solace to children through play and counseling amidst the chaos of one and a half million uprooted souls. Driven by a fervent passion for community service from their earliest days, they have cemented their commitment as permanent members of the scouting organization.

Their younger brother, Ayham, at sixteen, prepares to embark on his high school journey, with aspirations in the field of veterinary medicine ignited by his boundless love for animals nurtured in their home farm for chickens. And even their youngest, Salma, with innocence fading fast, stands alongside her family, offering what aid she can to those in need.

But amidst the deafening symphony of destruction, their cries for help go unheard, drowned out by the relentless onslaught of conflict. With their home reduced to a mere shadow of its former self, they face an uncertain future, with their very survival hanging in the balance.

- Residence in Cairo while awaiting refugee papers.

- Airline tickets for seven people from Cairo.
