Dear friends, community members, and kind-hearted supporters,
My name is Sashar Stewart daughter of Viviene Campbell, I’m reaching out for help for my mom and family members who live in Sellington, Black River, St. Elizabeth. My family, including my mother, was terribly affected by Hurricane Melissa, which struck on October 28, 2025. Damaging most of their homes and leaving some homeless.
When the hurricane hit, our lives changed overnight. The storm tore through our community and completely destroyed our family home, a place we worked so hard to build, filled with memories of love and togetherness. They lost almost everything: clothes, furniture, food, and most painfully, the comfort of having a place to call home.
Currently we are doing our best to stay strong and do all that we can, but it has been incredibly difficult. My mom and our family would deeply appreciate any support you can give. No amount is too small, every contribution helps us to take one step closer to rebuilding our lives.
Your prayers, generosity and kindness, mean more to us than words can express. Even if you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing our story with others who might be able to help.
From my heart and on behalf of my family thank you for standing with us during this difficult time.
With gratitude,
Sashar Stewart
