Fundraising- Swings & Smiles and Forever Loved Horse Therapy

Thanks for visiting my GoFundMe page!

I am walking the Cornish coast path to raise money for Swings & Smiles and Forever Loved Horse Therapy. As someone who has always had an office job and is more likely to be watching sport on the TV than playing it myself, it's fair to say I'm generally a couch potato and this will be a physical and mental challenge. The coast path round Cornwall stretches for about 300 miles with many sections graded as strenuous or severe. I will be travelling to Cornwall one weekend each month and walking as much as possible until it's done - so it's quite a logistical and long term challenge as well.

Swings & Smiles offers support for disabled children and their families through respite, family play sessions, youth clubs, sibling support and outreach. https://swingsandsmiles.co.uk
Forever Loved Horse Therapy provide an animal assisted therapy allowing the ponies to be the therapy themselves for adults and children with a range of disabilities including but not exclusive to mental health needs, physical disabilities and special educational needs. https://foreverlovedhorsetherapy.co.uk

Our family has been (and continues to be) supported by both these organisations. When many channels have led to never ending waiting lists, tribunals and red tape, Swings and Smiles & Forever Loved Horse Therapy have been a lifeline and I would love to give back and say thank you to them so that we and other families can continue to benefit from the work they do.

Any donations will be very much appreciated!
