Hey Awesome Community Members and Supporters!

We’re reaching out with open hearts to share a cause that means the world to us! The Fauquier & District Golf Club, a cherished nonprofit treasure nestled along the stunning Arrow Lakes in British Columbia, has been a community cornerstone since 1967. This 9-hole gem offers breathtaking Monashee and Selkirk mountain views and a welcoming space for golfers of all levels. However, the course has faced significant challenges due to its location near Arrow Lakes, where slope instability and erosion have tested its resilience over the years. While this season has been stable, we’re eager to enhance and preserve this special place for everyone to enjoy.

As a volunteer-run nonprofit, we rely entirely on our amazing community’s support. We’re launching this GoFundMe to fund a revitalization project that will breathe new life into the course. Here’s what we hope to achieve with your help:

• Enhance the cart path to the 3rd green—a key upgrade to improve access for all.

• Refresh the cart path to the 4th green and update both men’s and ladies’ 4th tee boxes to enhance the experience.

• Improve the 1st-3rd tee boxes while machinery is on site for efficiency.

• Elevate the 3rd green with sand to address the rocky base, aiming to support better maintenance like cup installation and aeration (pending sufficient funds).

To make this vision a reality, we need support for:

• 15 yards of concrete

• 40 yards of high-end golf course sand

• Trucking to haul materials

• Rebar

• Lumber for concrete forms

• 20 yards of road crush

• Flowers and small shrubs to enhance the landscaping

• Sod to refresh the 4th tee boxes

• Machinery for the work

• Landscape materials

• A couple of new picnic benches for visitors near the clubhouse

• A concrete pump for the path

We’re coming together as a community to support this effort over the next few months. Your contributions, large or small, will help us move closer to our goal.

Special Thanks to Major Supporters: Donations of $2,000 or more will be recognized with a dedicated sign at the course, displayed for three years. This offers businesses and individuals a chance to support our community and gain visibility among our members and visitors.
