Swimming to Help Stop Child Food Poverty in NI

Hi,

I listened to Dr Julie-Ann Maney on local radio talking about the infants and children she treats in Belfast. Children who are so undernourished and hungry that they will tuck toast into their nappy incase they don't get anything else to eat again that day.

This is 2020, this is so heart breaking and we have to do something to help. 

I'm currently swimming a mile a day in the open sea, and will swim every day of November to raise money for a Belfast based organisation who provide fresh food parcels to families and children in Northern Ireland. I discovered Life Hub NI through a friend and have seen for myself the work that Edmund and his colleagues do to support families and people in Belfast who are in need of support.

Life Hub NI helps over 378 families a week, collecting food that would otherwise have been thrown away and distributing it to families in desperate need. 

I'll be on Helens Bay beach every day swimming my mile for Life Hub NI,  please if you can, donate something to this cause, no child in Northern Ireland should be going hungry.
