$3,500 raised of

Marathon swim for people experiencing homelessness in D.C.

Donation protected
People experiencing homelessness in Washington, D.C. are having an even tougher time than normal right now.

Charlie's Place - the drop-in center that my eldest son and I volunteer with - needs support to keep safely providing meals and basic provisions to members of our community that don't have permanent housing. I'm undertaking a 20km/12.4 mile swim to raise awareness and donations of time and/or money.

$100 = 1 week of underwear and socks
$500 = 1 month of kitchen staples
$1000 = 1 month of meat, cleaning supplies, paper goods & bottled water

Or sign up to volunteer your time.

I hope to complete the swim in 6 hours on Sunday Sept. 14. If I manage to set up live-tracking I will post it here.

Thank you so much, Bec.

P.S. I'll cover the GoFundMe fees so every dollar you donate goes direct to Charlie's Place.
