Hi. I'm Stefanie, Granny to Keziah, my newest granddaughter, born on February 24. I'm fundraising for her mommy and daddy, Hadassah and Tuckerman, who have been out of work since her birth. She was born with a significant heart valve stenosis (narrowing) and needed balloon valvuloplasty as soon as possible. She was transferred to more prominent hospitals twice and put on medication immediately to keep the normally temporary PDA valve open until the procedure, which occurred a week later on Thursday, March 3rd.

She endured the procedure very well, but then for more than a week now, has struggled to breathe and keep her oxygen levels stable. She has known nothing but pediatric intensive care since her birth.

I’m asking for funds for the family to help ease the burden of taking time off from work to support their baby. While staying at the hospital, their car was vandalized for the catalytic converter and repairs cost $1,000.
