Help a sweet family who lost a loving provider

Assalamu Alaikum,


My beloved aunt Dania, (35), tragically lost her husband Faisal in a road accident on the night of October 2, 2023.

They were headed home after a meal in a joyous family reunion. Dania, Faisal, and their three-year-old son Ahmed were on a motorbike when suddenly their motorbike got into a fatal accident.

In just a matter of seconds, my aunt’s entire life changed.

Words fail to explain the shock and pain my family feels for how suddenly we lost Faisal - an incredibly important soul to the family and his community. The hole he has left behind is vast, because not only did he keep our beloved Dania happy, he was a man of exceptional character always ready to be of service to everyone, selflessly at the forefront of any task the family needed help with, even without being asked.

It’s beyond our imagination how our Dania feels to suddenly lose her loving, protective and caring partner and father to their three young children. It is going to take her time to process her heartache and her new reality; the journey is daunting and we want to make it as easy and comfortable as possible.

We are seeking financial assistance for her because she was entirely financially dependent on her husband who was the sole breadwinner. They lived a simple life and struggled financially with not many savings, and so currently face a lack of a source of income and no financial security. We want to build for Dania a secure home, so that she can her stand on her feet for her young children, and find strength to begin a new chapter that Allah has written for her. 

All three kids (ages 3, 7, and 10) were extremely loved and parented with thoughtfulness and care by their mom and dad. We pray for their continued enriched upbringing, and a life free of difficulty in the absence of their loving father.
