Sweet Evie Needs Your Help..

KCREGAP rescued Evie, an adorable, incredibly smart little girl from a high kill shelter in southeast Kansas a couple of months ago. She's now been spayed and is fully vaccinated. She's an expert ball catcher and a professional snuggler!

As we've gotten to know her, we've found she needs a 6-foot fence to be safely contained or an adopter who is 100 percent committed and experienced in leash walking their dog.

We've also determined that she prefers to be an ONLY DOG, but is cat safe! She'll also need family members older than the age of approximately 12. These requirements are not typical needs for the average greyhound! Evie is currently working with a trainer and we'd like to support her continued success.

KCREGAP is seeking to raise $1,200 to support her current and future training and to cover the adoption fee for the special family who adopts her.

Evie can sit on command and has learned “leave it” and “down. She is working on “place” and “come.” Evie has so much love to give and we want to give her the home she deserves.
