About Kansas City REGAP

KCREGAP began in 1990 with the purpose of rescuing greyhounds disposed of by the greyhound racing industry, and finding permanent homes for them in the KC Metro area.  KCREGAP is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization whose Board Members and volunteers dedicate their time and efforts to rescuing greyhounds from the racing industry, addressing any health issues those dogs may have and providing any needed veterinary care. The greyhounds are housed in the KCREGAP kennel until a foster or forever home is found.
