Sweet Dreams - Bedroom Makeovers

Hey there - My name is Jenny Butler, and I'm raising funds to help make some little girls' sweet dreams come true!

The girls, now ages 6, 7, 9, & 10, were recently adopted by a woman in our community who has a huge heart for children in need. After being taken out of an abusive home environment, the girls were in foster care for a few years before Sharon learned of their situation and became their next and last foster parent. Sharon is a single woman working as a substitute teacher who also has been caring for her elderly mother.

The girls' lives are only now becoming stable. The first few years were spent in a terrible home environment. Then the next few years were spent bouncing around from home to home in foster care, where each move left them feeling unloved and unwanted.

My goal is to create a space for the girls that makes them feel special! Their rooms will be a place where they will always feel safe and cozy.

I've come up with a plan, and now I need your help to make it happen!

We need to replace the flooring, ceiling fans, purchase furniture, paint, decorate, etc. There's much work to be done!
