Lets get Dana Home!

Dana was visiting Mexico with her Mom during the Holidays and started to lose feeling in her legs and the left side of her body. After the initial stroke, she was taken via ambulance to a hospital in Morelia, Mexico. They discovered she had blot clots in the brain, pneumonia in her lungs, and kidney failure. Usually, she is covered via Medicaid in the United States; however, she’s not covered when she travels outside of the US. This has been a huge financial burden on her Mom. Our tough girl has fought out of ICU, through dialysis, and off life support. She is now stable enough to travel but needs special medical air transport. As a family, we are trying to raise money for an Air Ambulance to get her back to the United States where her medical care will be covered by insurance.
