Hi there , My name is Glen and I’m trying to raise money for S.T.C which is an incredible charity that like so many others are suffering rising costs that may in future threaten its very existence. The aim is for the Centre to raise £20,000 over 2026 to help keep prices as low as possible and have some contingency for unexpected issues. I STUMBLED across the Centre whilst trying find for Oxygen Therapy treatment for my daughter Lucy . It also provides Pilates and Bowen a massage therapy all at a reduced price which is a godsend for pretty much everyone who attends . Many people suffer from MS although so many other conditions are helped . My daughter Lucy suffers from Cerebral Palsy and uses 3 different treatments to help with blood/Oxygen levels (Oxygen Therapy) , aching bones ,general movement and general wellbeing (Bowen ). However the few staff and numerous volunteers who enable the Centre to run with such a selfless attitude, make the place such a friendly and comfortable refuge for so many people who suffer greatly for 24 hours a day , 7 days a week . Lucy and myself have spent most of her her life trying to access (for worthwhile treatment) the NHS and then Private Bodies (totally unsustainable) in desperation for help and at least some relief and an improved quality of life. Swanley Therapy Centre gives us just that and some hope for the future and it would be awful if prices had to rise above a bare minimum or worse still the Centre had to eventually close which would be a catastrophe for so many !!
