Hello,
My name is Dawn Marie Speer. I have been working with children in New Britian, CT and have found out that many childrendo not have beds to sleep in.
I have a family right now that has children sleeping on the floor. I am raising money to purchase a bunk bed and new mattresses. Please help me so they can be in beds and getting a good nights sleep!
This is the third time I have raised money for this purpose and with all your help we have supplied 9 children with new beds. Thank You! This is something that I will be continuing. If you give me your contact information I can keep you informed about the ministry, will send you a brochure and detailed information on how the money is spent.
I have a goal right now of $900 to raise money for this need, but any funds above that amount is kept in account for the next situation that I hear of that a child does not have a bed to sleep in.
This is on my heart because I don't believe a child in America needs to sleep on the floor. And if children don't have a good place to sleep they will not be successful in school or life. Dreaming is a part of sleeping and a part of living. I want to see children reach their dreams. Would you like to be a part of this by donating?
