Volunteering in Ghana

Hi, my name is Alice and as some of you may know I am currently completing a degree in child nursing. In a couple of months I will be graduating and officially become a registered nurse (eek)! Before I enter the scary world of work, I have the amazing opportunity to volunteer in Ghana at local hospitals over the summer. This is a truly once in a lifetime experience to help children who live in difficult circumstances and provide accessible care to those who usually wouldn't have it. This is of course not without costs. I have paid the majority myself through savings, as this is a project I have wanted to do since I was young, but I need some extra funds to push me to the target. I am hoping some kind people will appreciate what I am trying to do, see what I can learn from the experience and what good I can do for others, and donate some extra monies to help. I would be humbled and grateful for any support with this and will update any contacts with the progress made in Africa.
