We know the answer is yes—every time Suzie Stiles walked into Clover Kava.

A couple of weeks ago, our friend set sail across the cosmos. She is survived by her daughter Twila.

Suzie taught us a lot before she left. Like how to be yourself and be good at it. She taught us how to find beauty in the terrifying and the terrific just by staying forever curious. That no moment is too heavy for a good laugh. That reading good books makes you dangerous in the best way. And that punk rock isn't a style—it's a heartbeat.

There wasn't a great band Suzie didn't know, and there were so many awesome movies she insisted you just had to see. And she could turn any rainy day into an impressive piece of art in her sketchbooks.

If we are the waves our actions generate, Suzie was a tidal wave of creative, supportive, inspiring, and unstoppable joy.

Now, it's our turn to return the light she gave so freely.
