Help Suzanne Rebuild Her Gardens, Livelihood
Donation protected
Anyone that knows Suzanne, knows she takes great pride in her lovely garden. The trees that fell through her home during Hurricane Helene also destroyed her gardens and landscaping which she's spent most of her life building and tending to. With this destruction, Suzanne also lost her ability to operate the Chinquapin Inn, which is her livelihood. The scope of the work needed to clear out the large trees and all the debris that comes with that is huge. Once the debris is cleared, the real work of rebuilding the landscape can begin.
We are raising funds for Suzanne to get the trees and debris cleared and bring her gardens and landscaping back to life, so that she can welcome guests once again to stay again at the Chinquapin Inn, which she has operated for almost 40 years. If you have stayed at the Inn, or found peace in Suzanne's garden oasis, please consider donating. Even a little bit will help the effort.
Funds raised for this project will go directly to Suzanne Ford, Chinquapin Inn. Funds from this campaign will be used for tree and debris removal, landscape repair, trees / planting replacement, repair of 4 stone retaining walls / stone stairway repair, furniture replacement, and garden bed repair.
