Statistics show that person's who are racialised (black and ethnic minorities) experience poorer mental health treatment and/or outcomes. We believe this is due to cultural and spiritual insensitivities within multidisciplinary mental health teams.
Our holistic approach to talking therapy truly holds the ‘person’ at the ‘center’ of their therapy by considering how one's culture influences mental health experiences. The Four Pillars of Mabadiliko Therapy (Culture, Ethnicity, Identity & Spirituality) form the framework of our approach.
