Help Izzy!

In February 2023, Izzy fell ill with COVID-19, but the symptoms stayed, and they were diagnosed with long COVID in Spring of 2023 and were unable to work for about a year. They recovered slowly, but experienced setbacks throughout that impact their ability to work. 

In December, 2024, they were re-infected with COVID, and their long COVID symptoms resurged, including extreme brain fog, extreme fatigue, dizziness, impaired vision, chills, aching joints and muscles, coat hanger pain, nausea, orthostatic intolerance, struggles with communication/speaking, and challenges with sleeping. All of this leaves them unable to work. They were let go from their job because of this, and currently, they are only able to leave the house on a limited basis. They need help making rent and paying utilities. They are currently applying for disability benefits, but this process usually takes about 1 year. Many people during this process are forced to sell all of their assets, however, Izzy does not have assets to sell. They need support paying for rent, utilities, and other basic needs (e.g. vitamins, hygiene, etc). They live very simply and have a small budget, so $3,000 would sustain them for about 2 months through their healing process. Please consider donating to support them in this period of transition!
